The Chair of the Sir Tom Finney FC and Sir Tom Finney Preston Soccer Centre Peter Mason along with committee member and trustee Tom Roe were very pleased to present a cheque for £4,350 to Lenny Johnrose and Len Johnrose foundation member Paul Turley. The monies resulted from an amazing evening at Lea and Ashton Golf Club at which Graham Alexander and Paul Fletcher MBE spoke. The evening was hosted by Andy Bayes from BBC Radio Lancashire.

The evening was a great success and I would like to thank the speakers and host for giving up their time, all the attendees, donators of raffle/auction prizes and those who donated monies for their generosity in helping both the STFFC and STFPSC achieving this great result. Lenny Johnrose was both a coach and a manager with us and to be able to assist Lenny in his quest to raise the profile of MND in this way, is a satisfying outcome for a truly inspirational man’
