On Monday the 23rd of October, The Sir Tom Finney Soccer Centre was privileged to welcome His Royal Highness, Prince Harry.
The Prince came down to see the progress of a number of projects led by the team at the Soccer Centre in the past couple of months. Taking place at the UCLAN Sports Arena, our team had set up a number of different stations showcasing the hard work that has been executed throughout the process. In the last month, here at the Soccer Centre we have seen successes through the women’s football, Adult Pan Disability group and a new project offering footballing sessions to refugees. Inclusion is something we are very proud about here and believe Football and Sport is a means of bringing all people from different backgrounds together.
We want to thank all those that took part in the day and helped coordinate this event especially to Prince Harry and his team.
